Passaic River Raiders could very well have started this band while they were in high school around 1987 or so, but they waited 32 years to actually get together and play. 

Passaic River Raiders are an irreverent and scrappy five-piece in the fine tradition of New Jersey bar bands. Their focus? Performing spirited versions of the great music seen on MTV in the network's infancy and heard on the variety of Album Oriented Rock radio stations that dominated the airwaves in the early ‘80s. 

Back then, this was the music they skipped school for! This was the music they violated their curfews for! This was the music they were listening to when they met their girlfriends!

Today, this is the music Passaic River Raiders share with their dedicated audience, living up to their mantra: “Bring the joy!” Performing some obvious hits and not so obvious ones, this is the music Passaic River Raiders are committed to performing. Unless, of course, your good-lookin’ sister asks them to play something else...
